How it works

From heartbeat to track

No secrets: what happens in those 25 minutes, where the music comes from and what you take home.

1 Before the session

You book a date with a 20 zł deposit or enter a voucher code, and come to our studio in Warsaw. We briefly explain what to expect and put on a heart-rate sensor and a VR headset. With the introduction and listening, plan about 40 minutes.

2 The session, 25 minutes

In the headset you go through a series of stages. Each leaves a different trace in the recording and a different colour in the music:

  • Breathing. Calm, paced breathing. In the music: a quiet base, soft dark vowels.
  • Movement. A simple rhythmic movement. The beat starts to chase.
  • Task. Short attention tasks against the clock. You hear the consonants sharpen.
  • Rest. A break with no tasks. The voice lets go together with the heart.
  • Focus. Longer tasks that take concentration. An even, gathered pulse.

There are no good or bad results here. We do not judge anything — we record.

3 The score

From the recording we compute a tachogram: the time between every two heartbeats, beat by beat. Tempo, intensity, phrasing and the places for pauses come from it. The whole course of the session also picks the genre and the palette — which is why one heart plays ambient and another big beat.

4 The model plays

An AI music model performs the score. We say it plainly: the heart writes the score, the model only plays it. The model is the instrument; the score is yours. Every performance comes out a little different, so you always get two.

5 You choose

You hear two versions and keep one or both. If neither lands, we generate once more. If that still does not work, we return the deposit.

6 What you take home

  • an audio file, about 3 minutes;
  • a track page at a permanent link: the music and your tachogram side by side, ready to share;
  • with Portrait: a vertical video of your tachogram and an A3 poster with a QR code to the track.

What we do not promise

That this music is better than music made by people. That it says something about your character. That next year you will hear the same track — you will hear a different one, because your heart will be different too. Come back then and hear how it has changed.

Two real sessions up close

The coloured bands are the session stages. The line is the heart.

  • Breathing
  • Movement
  • Task
  • Rest
  • Focus

The line is a tachogram: the time between consecutive heartbeats across the whole session. Higher means a slower beat. The cursor shows roughly where in the session the music is.
